Welcome!

This site was a long time in coming. I had started this project many times using different tools and frameworks. I guess what finally pushed me to get it live was a desire to broaden my foundations with the Python programming language. In this case the Flask framework and many of it's associated tools. This had some crossover with my work, where I use Python daily, so the build felt like a two for one: a fun personal project as well as getting some reps on Python. 

The site really has no over-arching purpose other than to serve as a playground for me to experiment, gradually add new features and perhaps as a creative outlet. Likewise this blog page will have no consistent theme. Just a place for me to journal what is going on in my life. To talk about gaming, technology, my dog and animal welfare. Perhaps some diet and exercise talk.
